1 lb of organic pasture butter (two 8 oz. bricks)
¾ cup of oil (I used hempseed – you can use grapeseed, flax, olive or whatever you like)
sea salt if butter is unsalted
Cut the butter into chunks and let it sit out on the counter until it is softened and comes
to room temperature.
Combine the butter chunks, oil and salt in a food processor and process for about two
minutes or until it is smooth and well combined. It will seem to liquidy – don't worry.
It's fine and will set up in the refrigerator.
Pour it into a sealable container – I prefer a glass bowl with a good fitting cover and
refrigerate. It will be spreadable right from the fridge!
